TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE
This is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. It uses no oils or lotions. The customer wears loose, comfortable clothing and usually lies on a mat or firm mattress on the floor, remaining clothed during a treatment. There is constant body contact between the giver and receiver, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the full body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. The legs and feet of the therapist are used to position the body or limbs, which are rhythmically pressed and stretched. This may include pulling fingers, toes, ears, and moving the customer's body into many different positions. The treatment is normally at least 60 minutes.
